Model Моноколесо от Ugears is a unique wooden mechanical device, inspired by steampunk style and combining elements of bizarre monocycles from the past and armored military vehicles. The wheel of this model is designed in the traditional style of a unicycle, where the movement is generated by an external element - the wheel, while the internal unit that produces energy remains stationary relative to the rotation of the wheel.

Description

The unicycle Ugears has an open design that shows the internal structure and the movement of the parts during the operation of the mechanism. The central element of the wheel is a hub imitating a steam engine. The absence of an external case allows you to easily observe the internal mechanism, and access to rubber bands for replacement is provided without the need to disassemble the entire model.

Despite its refined appearance, the model has a solid construction and can overcome various surfaces. Monokoleso has two modes of operation. In the first mode, with fixed legs, the model moves forward until the power of the rubber motor runs out, after which it turns beautifully and stops. In the second mode, the legs are not fixed, which allows the model to roll up to 5 meters before stopping when it hits an obstacle.

The model consists of 300 parts, including 19 spare parts. The dimensions of the model are 180x155x85 mm. The unicycle is made of high-quality plywood used in European children's furniture. The model is equipped with everything necessary for assembly and offers the pleasure of creating and observing the operation of this wonderful device.
