It is 95 BC. Tigranes II ascends the throne of Greater Armenia and will later be known as Tigranes the Great for uniting much of northwestern Western Asia and creating an empire stretching from sea to sea. Players take the roles of the king and his sons, rebuilding history while Rome grows stronger in the west.

Description
The game continues for an unlimited number of rounds until all players win or lose. Players move rulers and armies across the board, gather resources, build cities, suppress unrest and ultimately take control of regions. A region may be acquired through battle or negotiation, by spending resources or by fulfilling a specific condition. Once captured, it is marked with a special token and removed from the Rome track. Playing time is 90–150 minutes for 1–4 players.
