Description
The Ugears Tyrannosaurus walks using a mechanism powered by a metal spring. The spring drives an axle through reduction gearing, which in turn moves the legs. Eccentrics on the same axle control the tail, head and jaw, synchronizing the motions to help the dinosaur maintain balance. It is the first two-legged walking model in the Ugears collection. The winding key is located at the top of the tail. With the switch in the Off position, turn the key clockwise about ten times, place the model on a flat surface, switch it On and release it. The dinosaur then walks while moving its tail and opening its jaws. The kit contains 249 wooden parts and takes about eight hours to assemble. No glue or special tools are required; simply follow the step-by-step instructions. The finished Tyrannosaurus is both a mechanical display model and an engaging construction project for dinosaur fans of different ages.
