Inspired by classic cycling races such as the Tour de France, the Ugears Automaton Cyclist combines a decorative wooden model with a working mechanical mechanism. Press the lever on the side to start the cyclist: the flywheel stores kinetic energy and drives the motion without wires or batteries. The model also demonstrates how weight affects a flywheel—place a coin, nut or another small object in the designated opening and observe how the mechanism's behavior changes. Like other Ugears kits, it is made from high-quality wood and includes everything required for assembly. The finished automaton works both as an engaging mechanical demonstration and as a distinctive display piece.
