Model Моноколесо от Ugears is a unique wooden mechanical device, inspired by steampunk style and combining elements of bizarre monocycles from the past and armored military vehicles. The wheel of this model is designed in the traditional style of a unicycle, where the movement is generated by an external element - the wheel, while the internal unit that produces energy remains stationary relative to the rotation of the wheel.

Description
The Ugears Monowheel has an open design that exposes its internal structure and lets you watch the parts move while the mechanism operates. At the center is an assembly styled to resemble a steam engine. Because there is no outer shell, the mechanism remains easy to inspect and the rubber bands can be replaced without taking the entire model apart. Despite its refined appearance, the model has a sturdy construction and can travel over different surfaces. The Monowheel has two operating modes. With the supporting legs locked, it moves forward until the rubber-band motor runs down, then performs a graceful rollover and stops. With the legs unlocked, it can roll for up to 5 meters before stopping when it meets an obstacle. The model contains 300 parts, including 19 spare components, and measures 180 × 155 × 85 mm. It is made from quality plywood of the type used in European children's furniture and includes everything required for assembly.
