Description
Serenity's Dream recreates the appearance of a sailing yacht with detailed sails, rope railings, a cabin, steering wheels, anchor and laser-engraved deck. Two paper sails use roller mechanisms so they can be furled and unfurled. To operate the yacht, move the Start/Stop switch to Stop, wind the ratchet mechanism with the key mounted on the hull, set the sails, then switch to Start and watch the model move while making tacking-style maneuvers. The kit contains 365 pieces and is rated at a medium difficulty level, making it most suitable for builders with some previous experience. No glue or special tools are required; illustrated instructions guide the assembly. The finished model is both an interactive mechanical yacht and an attractive display piece for enthusiasts of sailing, model building and engineering.
