Description
The Ugears Locomotive with Tender is one of the brand's flagship mechanical models, combining a highly detailed steam-engine appearance with a working drive system. A rubber-band motor made from 12 twisted bands powers the main gear; about 20 turns of the winding handle can send the locomotive up to approximately 5 meters. Pistons and valves move asynchronously in a manner inspired by a real steam locomotive. A full tender attaches behind the engine and includes an opening compartment that can hold a small note or other item. The wooden model assembles without glue and can run either on its rails or on a flat surface.
