Description
The Levenhuk Skyline BASE 110S is a Newtonian reflector supplied with a broad range of accessories for making full use of its optics. It can reveal fine details of lunar craters, the phases of Mercury, Saturn's rings and atmospheric features on Jupiter. Beyond the planets, it is also suitable for observing double stars, globular clusters, diffuse nebulae and planetary nebulae. The alt-azimuth mount keeps aiming simple: move the optical tube in the required direction without complicated setup, making the telescope particularly suitable for beginners. The mount sits on an aluminum tripod with height-adjustable legs for stable, comfortable observation. Two eyepieces with different focal lengths and a Barlow lens provide a useful range of magnifications: lower powers are convenient for extended nebulae, while higher powers are useful for planetary detail. A 6x optical finder is included to make locating targets easier.
