The Levenhuk Atom Digital DNB250 is a digital night-vision binocular designed for observation in a wide range of lighting conditions. Multi-coated glass optics, convex eyepiece lenses and a sensitive CMOS sensor work together to deliver a detailed image with 6x optical and 8x digital magnification. The built-in recorder captures video at resolutions up to 2560 × 1440 pixels and still images up to 48 MP. Night recording is monochrome, while daytime images are full color. A built-in infrared illuminator offers three brightness levels for use in low light. The device can be handheld, mounted on a tripod or attached to a helmet. Its ABS-plastic body with silicone coating provides a secure grip and is designed to operate from -30 °C to +55 °C. Maximum detection distance is stated as up to 1,000 m in daylight and 300 m at night. Battery life is up to 2 hours at night with the IR illuminator operating and up to 10 hours during daytime use. A removable 700 mAh lithium-ion battery is included and charges via USB.
