The Levenhuk Skyline BASE 50T is a lightweight refractor with coated optics and straightforward assembly. It is suitable for observing the Moon, bright Solar System planets and terrestrial scenery. The optical tube is mounted on a classic alt-azimuth mount that requires no specialized skills to operate, while a 5x optical finder assists with aiming. Fully coated glass optics help provide a clear, high-contrast image. Several interchangeable eyepieces are included to vary magnification, along with a diagonal mirror for terrestrial observation. An aluminum tripod with height-adjustable legs provides stable support and carries an accessory tray for spare eyepieces and other items.
