Description
The microscope is designed for observing transparent specimens in transmitted light. Its achromatic objective and glass optics with multi-layer anti-reflective coatings produce a contrast-rich image with minimal distortion. The maximum 200x magnification is well suited to a first exploration of the microcosm. Illumination is provided by a 40 mm concave mirror that requires no power supply, while a diaphragm disc controls the light. The 90 × 100 mm stage includes specimen clips. A fully metal body and substantial base improve durability and stability. The kit includes the monocular microscope, 16x achromatic objective, H12.5x eyepiece, diaphragm disc, stage with clips, plano-concave mirror, user manual and warranty card.
